This Week, I’m Just a Mom
This week, I am stepping away from the usual campaign updates and community news to share something deeply personal.
My family is grieving the unimaginable loss of my son. Right now, we are taking things one moment at a time—grieving, remembering, and leaning on one another as we try to comprehend a loss for which there are simply no words.
I am incredibly grateful for the love, prayers, kindness, and understanding that have been extended to our family during this difficult time.
If there is one thing I hope you take with you today, it is this: hold your people close. Check on the friend you haven’t heard from. Hug your children a little longer. Tell the people you love how much they mean to you.
Life can change in an instant.
